Zen Garden Updates

Published 19 September 04 by Justin French

  1. C-Note by Brian Williams is perhaps the most intricate and beautiful skin I’ve seen on the CSS Zen Garden so far – _so+ much attention to detail!
  2. Beccah by Chris Morrell has plenty of grunge goodness – I think we can safely blame Cameron Moll for this whole grunge/worn revival!
  3. Perfume de Gardenias by Armando Sosa does a pretty good job of breaking the whole “Red and Orange should never be seen…” rule.
  4. I just don’t dig horizontal scrolling, despite many decent attempts.
  5. Some are getting ridiculous with the excessive use of background images – I guess there’s a delicate balance between using CSS to style a page, and using CSS as a tool to hide content and import truckloads of background images.
