If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? Yeah. I went to add Dan Benjamin in as a user for some editing of an upcoming article, it didn’t work. Reset my own password to test out the password scripts, that didn’t work either. Locked out of my own Textpattern install, and not even Dean could hack his way in. Fun.

So it was out with γ1.19, and in with 4.0.2!

Thankfully I was able to use my own site as a reference for the few hacks and tricks I pulled to make things work (A Better Textpattern Search mainly), updated a couple of stylesheets to represent some new class names and ids in the Textpattern-generated HTML (comments mainly), switched my use of <txt:doArticle /> to <txp:article /> and I was done.

How long had I put this off? Far too long.

If anybody sees anything odd, please let me know.

Update: Thanks to everyone who wrote in about the justinfrench.dev (not.com) links. As you may have guessed, I use .dev for development on my Powerbook, and forgot to change it back when I imported the DB.
