TextMate Wiki, Sunshine, Beer, etc

TextMate Wiki

The official TextMate Wiki is now live. There’s links to heaps of new language definitions and tmbundles contributed by Joe Public, which is great to see. I know I haven’t got the time or skill to do them all!

You’ll also note that there’s my very own public to-do list for version 1.0.1 (due for release in a week or so) — if any of you have some suggestions for the default bundles which I’m working on (PHP, PHP-HTML and HTML), feel free to add suggestions to the list. Mainly looking for good examples of Snippets, Commands and Macros for the default install, so that people can instantly do more and get inspired to innovate with their own bits and pieces.

Sunshine, Beer

Dispelling the rumour that all I do is work, sleep & eat, we (my lovely Girlfriend Kate, Fran, Paul, Michael and many more) spent the day hanging out in ‘our little part of the world’, St. Kilda.

It was partially an early celebration of Kate’s birthday on Tuesday, and partially just the need for a great breakfast. Breakfast (at midday, of course) soon turned into a few beers, plenty of sunshine and a great afternoon with friends.

I only wish Doug was still here to see St. Kilda in full swing, packed with the “tourists” (as we locals call them).

Photography

  1. I wish I had a camera with me today, because describing the atmosphere here today is impossible, and most St. Kilda tourism sites have awful photos
  2. friends of mine have taken some amazing photos for their upcoming florist website (yes, built by yours truely), proving that you don’t really need skills, expensive equipment, big budgets, years of training or even a “designer eye” to get some great shots
  3. I really need to update the “head shot” photo on this site
