Enhanced, Part 1

Comments

The major change is that comments are now enabled on most articles. I had to perform some pretty major surgery on Textpattern’s comments engine to get the mark-up to behave how I wanted, but it will be well worth it – hopefully some of the anonymity between writer and reader will dissolve over the next few weeks.

Styles

Style sheets have also been tweaked a little. I didn’t like the way the code was displayed, and changed my mind about the “hero paragraph” (the large font size used for the first paragraph each full article), so it’s gone baby!

Email

I also fixed an email routing issue with the email address listed on the contact page, so if you sent me email and it bounced, please send it again!

Next?

I’m contemplating a inverse style sheet (reverse every color to create a black-on-white version of each page), for those who don’t dig the black background.

Utterly Unrelated

I mixed the front-of-house (live sound) for A Process Of on Friday night at Pony in the Melbourne CBD. I must say it’s an absolute pleasure to work with such an amazing band. These guys are going places!
