And what better place to meet than The Esplanade Hotel, just a few minutes walk from my apartment in lovely St. Kilda (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia)!

Many thanks to Doug & co. for sticking around long enough for me to show up and meet the guy who turned me on to CSS & Standards with his Adaptive Path redesign.

What can I say? Great guy, really approachable. We had a chat, we drank some beer, almost completely avoided talking about CSS, and then I drove him back to his hotel. Easy.
