About This Web Site

The Author

Usually based in Melbourne Australia, Justin French is a graphic-designer-turned-web-application-developer with a special interest in web standards, usability, functionality, clean code and nailing user interfaces and user experiences.

Justin is also married to Kate, father to Amelia, fully immersed in Ruby and Rails, a workaholic, the owner of two Pugalier dogs, a bit of an Apple fan, a non-dancer, the proud owner of a wonderful coffee machine, vaguely interested in Twitter, a fan of home made pizza, a fan of microbreweries, and much more.

Work

I work with NZX Clear, an incredible team of Ruby on Rails developers, iPhone specialists and User Experience Design magicians doing things properly. It’s a wonderful place to do what I love doing.

Technically speaking…

This website is published with the aid of Textpattern (STILL!) Web standards are important. Pages should validate to XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS 2 more often than not.

An Apple 15” MacBook Pro, TextMate, Transmit and various Adobe products get a good work out every day.
